Photo 22 Feb 6 notes Alpha & Omega was a Christian comic published by Spire. I remember it fondly as it was filled with cool drawings of demons and monsters. Unfortunately, Spire didn’t really put out anything good otherwise. They did all these right wing Archie comics about God, etc. Looking back on the comics Spire published is actually pretty funny. I mean what kid would want to read a comic titled “The Gospel Blimp”? Other “great” titles include “Paul; Close Encounters of a Real Kind”, “Jesus”, “Hansi; The Girls Who Loved The Swastika”, “Tom Landry & The Dallas Cowboys” and “Johnny Cash”. Seriously, what kid was reading these things?
